I have done this 3 times and all 3 times I got the same response. I too face the same problem, and hate these so called corporate banks ICICI and HDFC ... Will ICICI bank for enabling International roaming on my India mobile?
Why is this concept so difficult for ICICI to understand? I recently moved to Mexico and my India number is no more active. There is no way to get the mobile number updated for such customers.

Once this is send they will get back telling that the signature does not match the records and the number cannot be updated. I tried this for myself and my wife and we both got the same response.
I wasted nearly each on courier charges to send the documents and lots of additional money speaking to some senseless customer service representatives and supervisors. I am not sure if harassing a customer is what they mean by being a privilege customer.
